Mr. Wonderful

For those of you who have had the pleasure of meeting my husband, you know how fabulous he is and how much he does, not only for me, but for the house and the kids. (And you also know how uncomfortable this blog is going to make him! Which I love…)

I mean, I’m not exaggerating! The guy does all of our laundry and for those of you moms out there, you know what a big deal that is, such a load off! Now don’t get me wrong, I used to do my own laundry when we started dating, but after a few months of watching me ruin all of my favorite clothes and then having to watch me melt down about it, he decided it was in the best interest of both of our wardrobes as well as the sanity of our household for him to just take over the laundry.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg really.

The first night I stayed the night with Jayson I had to get back to my rented house with 2 roommates first thing in the morning because we had a scheduled “cleaning day”… HELL! I remember telling him that he needed to take me back to my truck so I could do my share of cleaning and he looked and me and said “I have a cleaning lady for that.” I swear to you all right here and now that the sky parted and God shone down a little light on him as he spoke those words. I honestly believe that’s when the love started

Alright, now if your jealous already, then HOLD ON….the guy does all of our cooking too! EVERYNIGHT!

He takes both of the kids off to their “daycare” every morning so that I can get off to work and he makes the bed every day.

THE GUY IS A SAINT. And on top of all of this he has jokes! He makes me laugh like no one else can. What can I say, he has my heart.

So here is my tip to single women everywhere:

Find a man that has lived on his own, that can take care of himself and that didn’t just move out of their mom’s house. Jayson had to take care of himself for all of those years that he lived alone, so when I moved in, he just started taking care of me too! It’s the secret to happiness I tell you.

If you see my man around, give him a high five, because he rocks at life and he deserves a little recognition.

Love you Hones!
